Working during pregnancy isn't always easy. Know how to stay healthy while going to office. Most women can continue working during pregnancy. Being pregnant, many challenges are at the workplace. To stay healthy and productive on the job, understand how to ease common pregnancy distress and know when work tasks might risk your pregnancy.

Easing nausea and vomiting

Pregnancy vomiting can hit at any time. To ease nausea at work:

Stay away of anything that cause nausea to you.
Crackers and other mild foods can be lifesavers when you feel nauseated. Keep it with you at work.
Drink enough fluids to avoid nausea at work place. Keep a water bottle and drink at regular interval.
Don’t rush around which can contribute to nausea. Allow yourself extra time to get out of bed and get ready for work.

Handling fatigue

You may feel tired as your body works overtime to support your pragnancy — and resting during the workday can be tough. It may help to:

Eat food items rich in iron and protein. Fatigue can be a symptom of iron deficiency anemia, but adjusting your diet can help. Choose foods such as red meat, poultry, seafood, leafy green vegetables, whole-grain cereal, beans and nuts.
Getting up and moving around for a few minutes can refresh you.
Try to avoid other activities if you are working woman and rest more when your workday ends.
Although exercise may be the last thing on your mind at the end of a long day, physical activity may help boost your energy level — especially if you sit at a desk all day.
Aim for seven to nine hours of sleep every night. Resting on your left side will improve blood flow to your baby and help prevent swelling.
